That Pink Rose!

In the garden of the house of victories
For the first time you conquered my heart
Before the hut of words and stories
Your fragrance you did let move apart.

Oh that fragrance! I’m in love with it.
Who did give you so sweet a smell?
Again in a gifted candle came it
In a land that has many stories to tell.

Again I saw you but on my daily path.
You did stand in the midst of many flowers
Upright to hear the cries everyday
Of beautiful birds dressed in many colours.

Sorry to you who read these verses
For these lines being linked by my memories.
For love may stand beautiful red roses
But you alone would do for the sweetest memories.

Come with me till my life goes
To witness sweet memories o’ pink rose.
