A Rain at night

The moon smiled at the night sky.
The crowded stars twinkling with a shy.
In silence, a breeze knocked at my window.
I opened to see the raindrops that follow.

One behind the other arrived.
‘’They may be brothers ‘’, I derived.
They split when they touch the ground
or else make a pool around.

Their clapping voice continued for hours,
made the moon brighter from the clouds that covers.
I saw the leaves whispering to the drops.
May be requesting for larger crops.

The drops are too naughty to wet my curtain.
I closed the window and waved to the rain.
