That Pink Rose!

In the garden of the house of victories
For the first time you conquered my heart
Before the hut of words and stories
Your fragrance you did let move apart.

Oh that fragrance! I’m in love with it.
Who did give you so sweet a smell?
Again in a gifted candle came it
In a land that has many stories to tell.

Again I saw you but on my daily path.
You did stand in the midst of many flowers
Upright to hear the cries everyday
Of beautiful birds dressed in many colours.

Sorry to you who read these verses
For these lines being linked by my memories.
For love may stand beautiful red roses
But you alone would do for the sweetest memories.

Come with me till my life goes
To witness sweet memories o’ pink rose.

The Smiling Moon

Yonder the moon smiles bright tonight, A smile brighter and wider than last night. It seems the stars have withdrawn their light. Trust me; you have conquered my sight, And I walk to you in this twilight.

This night owns a silence and a deep quietness. No snores, no slams shall disturb its darkness And in my sight it's only your brightness. I'm walking to you to erase your loneliness To smile bright but with yours a little less.

None knows that I come to you And I know not why I this do, Though I know my feet can't take to you. For a reason unknown I'm walking to you. But you're too lovely to go back to.

I see not the thorns nor pits so deep But your smile that does my path keep. At you, anyone shall forget to weep Though he holds tears to a high heap. You're so lovely that I despise my sleep.

I can hear the whistling wind whispering Not to me but to the clouds above hovering To hide you to prevent me from seeing You so bright in this vast dark high sky shining. Yet senselessly to you I'm walking.

I had walked long it appear That my house is shorter than a dot from here. Did I alone come so far without fear? No! You dragged me, now tell me dear, Why are you even now not near?

Don't tell me you were deceiving me And all this time you were laughing at me, Like any other pleasure in this world I see You too swallowed my time unnecessarily. Your smile is cruel now I see.

When dawn breaks in you'll leave me alone. The sky will have the sun to adorn. Into the silence, now enters a fearful tone. I shouldn't have, for no reason, so far gone. My tired legs, now, won't take me home.

The Rhythm of Wrath

Kindness be the twinkle in eyes
And patience- the strongest strength.
They melt the hearts like the ice
And cool the souls at length.

Oh dear heart! You beat
And I know that keeps my breath.
In joy, there’s music in it,
So let it hum till my death.

Gifts you the worst rhythm the Rage,
Born from the sorrow the Pride did hide,
To lock my tears in her cage
Though I know I myself lied.

Then shrink my pride as thin as lath.
But sing not the rhythm of wrath.

The Seeker Of Sorrow

Man is the seeker of sorrow.
Willingly or not he is,
For he does often borrow
Tears to erase his ease.

Though he likes not he does
Remain in immemorial grief.
Though he longs not he does
Think things go wrong what if!

It seems sorrow, for men, is default
And happiness comes in like a guest
And it leaves soon or may halt
For a moment or two, quenches not quest.

The seeker of sorrow when this read
May now argue or nod his head.

The World Of Complaints

I saw a lovely red rose
At the farthest end of my sight.
I moved to it so close.
“How proud she be might!”

Along these rays and beams
Her sweet fragrance does flow
And to men in love it seems
For his love, a sign to show.

But I saw tears in her eyes
And wondered what the hell!
Why the red rose now cries?
In what sorrow did she fell?

It was her thorns behind
The tears she had shed.
“Won’t men in this find
A fade in my petals shining red?”

I spoke no words but,
“Yet you’re sweet and lovely.”
Could the thorns ever cut
The beauty I did smell and see?

I had seen tears in
Parrots and even in crows,
For both envied the other in
Beauty and freedom they owns.

Comparison’s the mother of complaints
And the father shall be intolerance
To see in others what in us faints.
Now the cure shall be in acceptance.

The world of complaints shall fade
When comparisons by acceptance are replaced.

Beautiful Love

Love and Beauty once had a fight.
Beauty claimed he is great,
Gifts all pleasure and delight.
But our poor Love is still illiterate,
Knows not to say words of wisdom,
Neither to lead nor to follow.
All he knows is to exploit the freedom,
And wherever he wishes he does go.
But this time he said, "I know not
To fight but may argue a little.
You may have won whenever fought,
But I had cancelled many a battle.
The more I'm in a tiny heart,
The more you appear in the eyes.
The more I leave the little heart,
The less you appear in the eyes."
"But I think it's the other way round..."
Flowed out words of Beauty,
"...and I may hold your count
And that for me is quite easy."
"I can admit if you could reason
Just this one thing that I mention,"
Began Love without a treason,
"...Man had ne'er seen in real a Satan.
Yet he pictures him the ugliest
In his dreams and in his imagination.
You could grasp it once you think it best.
Love comes first, Beauty- just a reflection."
The moment followed Beauty did think
And then his face had turned pale.
He stood frozen without even a blink.
Then he is cute to admit, "I did fail."
Love and Beauty once had a fight
And off course Love did win the prize.
Again and again with all his might
Love wins the hearts and every race.

Looking for...

I look for, I see and at last I find.
I find not the unseen for I haven’t looked.
It’s like an untrodden path or of such kind
Where none had gone nor even walked.

To find is the hardest until we see
And we see it not when never looked for.
To relate; the unseen is in the ray of lee
Or may be concealed inside the core.

It’s a promise that however it is found
At the end of the untrodden path or
At the very first sight at the ground,
Only it requires is our looking for.

Let the unseen be the goodness or delight.
Let’s oblige ourselves to look for it.
Let’s see the good all day and night
Whether at length or in the tiniest bit.

I look for, I see and at last I find
And I've chosen to look for the best
Or better prefer to be blind,
I shall not find others’ faults lest.
